Addon not working with vaadin 8+ responsive theme for mobile view however it is displaying properly with desktop size resolution

Hello,
I guess you mean that the COMBINED Variant of the menu does not behave responsive even when setResponsive(true)? This is because its not meant to do so. I was missing that feature too so I contributed it.

I have added a new Variant (RESPONSIVE) of the Menu in the currently open pull request, which has similarities with the COMBINED Variant but more so with the LEFT. An example how to use it can be found here.
But since the maintainer is currently very busy I fear it will take a few more days until its being brought to the Directory.

Hi there thanks for the RESPONSIVE VARIANT it help me a lot
i am facing a issue may be you could help while in mobile view where the RESPONSIVE menu type is activated if we click the menu button it opens the left side bar and if we click some menu item it should closed the left side bar automatically but it is not happening for that we have to again click the menu button from the top left corner in mobile view it is not desirable plz help me to achieve this you can share the code or any source update link

I am currently working on the hybrid menu to rework since some only with detours or not at all works. Below is also the mobile view.
