when i boot up wii64 my controller turns off

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. i boot up wii64 then my controller turns off so i cant access my roms
2. im just stuck in the wii64 main menu
3. and it dont detect my controller no matter what i do

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the main menu and i cant do anthing

What version of the product are you using? On which system and loader?
