OpenInv 4.2.1
Supported Minecraft versions
1.18.2, 1.19.1
Due to the fact that Spigot has elected not to bump the NMS revision, 1.19 is no longer supported.
Changelog
- Update to 1.19.1 (#89) - @Elioby
Full Changelog: 4.2.0...4.2.1
OpenInv 4.2.0

- Dropped support for Minecraft 1.17 and 1.18.1
- Fix several permissions not taking effect in certain circumstances (crossworld, openonline, openoffline)
- Fix incorrect/inconsistent viewer listings for special inventories
- Various code health fixes and refactors
- Remove cache, add
disable-offline-access
config node - Note Spigot requirement
- Craftbukkit servers will now generate a warning on load instead of erroring later on. Please do yourself a favor and stop using Craftbukkit, it is unsupported software.
- Log error message when failing to save player data (#72) - @Phoenix616
Known issues
Player inventory opened via OI closes when the player leaves server. This is unrelated to permissions to view online/offline players. It is caused by the backing internal inventory being closed during logout.

IF YOUR SERVER IS CRASHING WHEN USING /OI OR /OE, UPDATE YOUR SERVER. THIS IS A SPIGOT BUG THAT WAS FIXED BEFORE OPENINV FOR 1.17 EVEN RELEASED.

yell at meexpress your views in #185
- You can read my reasoning and
- Clarify download locations for older versions
- Fix double chest custom names not displaying
- Fix item delete in own inventory
- Fix item dupe in own inventory
- General code health/cleanliness improvements
- Several fixes and changes with automation
- The process of distributing jars is
largely automaticstill not functional, probably because I tried to get the changelog to be formatted prettily! Unfortunately as a result of some setup changes I've had to migrate to my own fork - I'm set up with collaborator permissions and the stuff I needed to tweak requires owner permissions. Expect to see further updates there.
- The process of distributing jars is
OpenInv 2.5.3 for 1.4.5 through 1.11
- Added silentchest support for shulker boxes
- Merged silentchest and anychest notification where applicable to reduce spam
- Backported fix for anychest being blocked by ocelots to all versions
- Applied fix for SPIGOT-2806 to silent containers
- Reorganized code slightly to reduce useless object creation
Fixed from 2.5.3-alpha-1:
- Anychest notification is no longer hellaciously spammy.
- Shulker boxes no longer become stuck closed
Issues:
- It is possible to get a shulker box to become stuck open by very rapidly accessing and closing it in the correct order with two players, one with and the other without silentchest active. Reopening it without silentchest will cause it to fix.
- Shulker boxes are reporting the wrong rotation. Anychest may not correctly activate for shulker boxes that do not open upwards. To fix this, either activate silentchest or place a block on top of the shulker box.
OpenInv 2.5.3-alpha-1 for 1.4.5 through 1.11
- Added semi-functional support for shulker boxes
Issues:
- AnyChest notification is always sent whenever an eligible container is opened. If you really want to run this version, I recommend setting
NotifyAnyChest: false
in your OpenInv config. - Silent shulker boxes cause the tile to get stuck "closed" - once accessed via SilentChest, the tile becomes silent for anyone until reloaded.
I'd work on this crap more, but I've already updated and fixed 7 various plugins today. I'm feeling pretty done.
OpenInv 2.5.2 for 1.4.5 through 1.11
- Updated to include v1_11_R1 for 1.11
This release has been tested and should be stable.
Shulker boxes are not yet supported by silent/anychest.
