I know it kind of defeat the purpose of the the whole "keep the wither from destroying its surrounding" problem because the pink wither is friendly, but at the stage you can tap a wither and defeat Botania's Hardest boss, that shouldn't be a problem.
Also, who doesn't dream to have a pink wither friend at home?
