Unable to launch games with gamescope

Games wouldn't start with gamescope enabled.

I get the error: failed to inherit capabilities: Operation not permitted

   (pkgs.heroic.override {
      extraPkgs = pkgs:
        with pkgs; [
          gamescope
          gamemode
        ];
    })

Tried using the flatpak version, Getting the same error.
DX12 s not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.
also getting this error if i try to run ghostrunner in dx12

HGL build: 2.15.2 (nixpkgs)
OS: NixOS 24.11
Tested Games: Vampire survivors and Ghostrunner
Runner: Proton ge latest, Wine ge latest
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060, laptop dual gpu setup.
WM: Hyprland
