Manifesto

Hello :) I'm Lana, and I think that I would make a good Welfare secretary because I get a lot of fulfillment out of being able to help other people.

I have been involved in setting up the Women In Computer Science society with the goal of creating a safe and inclusive space for women and non binary people in computer science, this is an issue I am extremely passionate about and I think that through the position of Welfare Secretary, I would be able to carry over my drive for inclusivity in the department.

If I got this role, I would use my connections with the women in computer science society to advertise hacksoc events to a wider range of students, who may not be members. I would ensure that Hacksoc continues to be a diverse and welcoming society to hopefully encourage more members and activity.

Unlike the previous Welfare Secretary, I promise I will actually do work <3
