Hi,
A bunch of apps, mostly video streaming apps stopped working on my Chromebook after a reboot.
ChromeOS is v 94.0.4606.97, Text version is 0.6.5
Netflix, amazon prime video, youtube, emby, and other apps either freeze on startup or show the startup screen and then interacting with anything on the screen (clicking anything) makes it freeze.
Freeze means the ChromeOS popup shows up and says the app is not responding: close app, wait, or send feedback.
Disabling the Text extension in Chrome and rebooting, makes the problem go away. Enabling the Text extension in Chrome and rebooting makes all the apps freeze again.

Heya, This seems to be a issue with the operating system itself rather then the text app. Please file feedback via [alt + shift + i] if you are still able to reproduce the issue.
Thanks!
