Issue type

uswds/uswds#1343

Benefits

Having a repo only for SAMWDS will help us with a few things:

  • focus our efforts in improving only the core files
  • simplify the build process
  • easier to understand project structure

Any thoughts?

@carlosvalle - Interesting idea. Where are you thinking of splitting the two?

When I read it, I was thinking the /src and /dist would be built by a different repo - then a developer dependency for the SAMWDS site.

@joshbruce - yes, exactly.... the contents of src and dist folder will be in one repo, the npm package samwds will be created from this repo..... and then installed as a dependency for the git-hub pages repo.
