As a member of the federal government or the public, I want to understand how innovation is tied to USAID's mission and their approach to innovation using prize competitions.

Event Planning

  • Confirm event date/time, agenda, title, and description
  • Obtain approval
  • Add to event tracker
  • Update TTS Outreach liason

Event Promotion

  • Create branding for social media
  • Develop communications plan
  • Build Zoom registration
  • Submit post-event survey for PRA approval
  • Open registration and promote event
  • Create and publish social media
  • Add event to Challenge.gov events page

Event Logistics

  • Content preparation (Finalize agenda, questions, and run-of-show)
  • Slides Accessibility Review
  • Technical rehearsal

Post Event

  • Send thank you and any follow up communications to speakers
  • Send thank you email with survey link to registration list
  • Capture, analyze, and report event data
  • Close survey
  • Update Challenge.gov events page to move to past events
  • Edit video file for accessibility
  • Post video file on Challenge.gov YouTube channel
  • Draft post-event summary blog post
  • Publish post-event blog post

Acceptance Criteria:
Event is completed, post-event items are accomplished, data is collected and distributed, post-event artifacts (run-of-show, video, blog, etc) are delivered
