Waydroid: Calgary Transit MyFare app

The MyFare app (com.justride.calgary) is odd. I find that it does not open at all unless I open another Android app first. Also, after it has run once and the phone has been idle for some time, it will not open again until I restart the container. In this scenario, it just shows the loading icon seemingly infinitely.

My "workflow" for getting a bus ticket in the morning is thus:

1. Try to open MyFare; it does not load at all
2. Open Awful app (com.ferg.awfulapp)
3. Try to open MyFare
4. It hangs, so stop/start container
5. Wait for container to come back up
6. Open Awful
7. Open MyFareAt this point, in the Calgarian winter, my hands are very cold.
