The android container runs at 60hz. It should run at same speed as host system.

Optionally as a workaround allow reducing the screen to 60hz on host system

not quite, both systems run at 120hz. composer of guest is a client of host, it doesn't choose what refresh rate it runs at.

This is not true and can be tested by opening the android settings and enabling developer mode and turning on show refresh rate and it should show 120 on the top left corner.
