  • I have read the FAQs inside the app (Menu -> About -> FAQs) and my problem isn't listed.
  • I have taken the time to fill in all the required details. I understand that the request will be dismissed otherwise.
  • This issue contains only one feature request.
  • I have read and understood the contribution guidelines.

Feature description

Add ability to create a shortcut-like launcher icon for Checklist notes with a badge showing the number of unchecked items. Similar to unread notification badges on iOS and some Android launchers.

Why do you want this feature?

The main purpose is to have a compact way to:

  • See remaining unchecked items count at a glance
  • Quickly access specific checklist notes
  • Keep track of pending tasks without occupying much home screen space like full note widgets do

Additional information

Technically this can be implemented as a 1x1 app widget that looks like a shortcut with a counter badge in the top-right corner and a short note title at the bottom.
