I maintain a project named dbin, currently, I'm looking to create our own in-house repo, with its own recipes, I think the syntax of spok is great, and would like to borrow that, could you give me written explicit permission to do so? The recipe on which the repository will live will use MIT/3BSD/The Unlicense (I haven't yet settled, AFAIK they're mostly the same)

Sorry I'm not entirely sure what you mean? Spok is licensed under Apache so you're free to do as you wish really, it's not too much different to MIT in that respect
