Migrate from Twitter

With twitter 🔥 it is important to have options for other services. Mastodon support would be great, but also just a simple upload (FTP?) to a website would be great. I have purchased https://www.saskwildfire.com/ so it's possible that this may be the time to move over there as the "primary" place to find information?
