As an expansion from an idea that was submitted anonymously-

A possible source of traitors in lore, and a potential source of our actual bigger antagonists like nukie teams could be the NL itself, tasked with "rescuing" (kidnapping) people from the "invading" station. Enough people have played alternate selves or evil selves on the Exonet channels for the idea to have precedent, and it would be a unique take on the idea.
