Duke Learning Innovation is developing a new way for Professors to send out short quiz questions (not part of your grade!) to students in order to aid them with their learning and memory of the material.

Paste in an example quiz question screenshot.

This short survey will have significant influence on how the quiz product is distributed to students.

Thank you in advance for your valuable feedback.

  • Website / Mobile / Text / Sakai

    • ask about each independently
      • don’t force people to pick just one
    • matrix table
      • very likely - not at all likely
      • respond the same day - respond in the same week - never respond - I would not opt in to receiving this material
      • row for each option
    • set up a scenario in the introduction
      • emphasis on non-graded
    • if you got a message through this channel, how quickly will you respond to it?
    • ask in separate question whether users would be willing to download an app
  • How many quiz questions would you want to be asked: test this inside the UI UX.

    • Per class:
    • In total per week:
  • Bonus question: Do you think that having optional short quiz questions (not graded!) sent from your professors on a regular basis will help with your learning?
