Brief summary
Previous power state restoration option doesn't boot the platform if it was powered on during power failure
How reproducible
100%
How to reproduce
Go to Power Management Options and set the Power state after power failure option to
The state at the moment of failure
. Then reset the platform to save the change, get it to boot and simulate a power failure.Expected behavior
It should power the platform back on.
Actual behavior
It won't power back on when you plug the AC back in, no matter what state the platform was in upon failure.
Similar to the V560TU issue, however this time if you set the option to
Powered On
, it will be turning on the machine after cutting and restoring power. Only the previous state restoration doesn't boot it up.Screenshots
