Component

Dasharo firmware

Device

NovaCustom V56 14th Gen

Dasharo version

v0.9.0-rc3 (heads)

Dasharo Tools Suite version

Test case ID

SUD001.002 ,SUD002.002, SUD003.002

Brief summary

USB devices are not detected untill the first suspend per boot

How reproducible

seems like 100%

How to reproduce

Issue

  1. power on the platform
  2. login to qubesOS
  3. not a single attached usb device should work

Additional steps to a temporary fix:
4. Suspend the platform
5. Login again
6. all the popups regarding new usb device should appear simultaneously

It all resets to step one, if you reboot/power off the plaform

Expected behavior

i guess the usb devices should be recognised from the start

Actual behavior

usb devices remain inactive untill the "first suspend of a boot"

sys-usb may just take a while to start. Maybe try starting it manually after the reboot

idk for some reason i can't reproduce the missing terminal error no more. Maybe there was something else causing it

update: i think i know, in between these trials i doubled the ram so it seems this problem was caused by insufficient memory and not this issue
