"How To" is incomprehensible

Unless you're familiar with Intellij IDEA, the "How To" is incomprehensible.

I downloaded the program, I installed JDK 8 which required registering on Oracle's website and filling in my "company's" name and my personal phone number, and after that I have no idea what to do. I have no idea what Gradle Project is, and how to "sync" it.

Please provide a proper guide on how to use the program.
