One symbol - multiple text variable #8
Comments
Hey @surajnaikin123, I think I may have already implemented this. Essentially if you name your layers within the symbol Let me know how you go, if if that doesn't make sense. |
So should the layer of the symbol be named explicitly as 'item.1', so it refers to the whole first row of text variables? |
Ok got it. For now the values has to be in the same row. Is there any way the name of the layer can be named as "#label.1,value.3' or another way you think fit - so that I can refer a specific row & column for one symbol instance. |
Good idea. Can't at the moment – but I'll look into adding that. |
Thank you so much, so far the existing plugin has been nicely added into my workflow and it's definitely helpful. Now I can send an excel to my client and they can change the text as they want. There is just one more feature request, when a longer text gets imported, the multiline text into design changes to a single line. Can the text refresh within confined boundaries of the object or at least just the width. Thanks again. |
@surajnaikin123 sorry I didn't reply earlier. The text layer should stay multiline if you set the alignment to be fixed. |
Feature request:
When can you release a version where one can use a single symbol with multiple text variables.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
