Google Stadia - Design changes affecting the extension.

Earlier this month Google started rolling out new changes to the Stadia website for some users. The changes include games being categorized by genre, changes to the homescreen layout, embedded store pages and more. They are being rolled out on a per-user basis (not a usually used language/region based one) so it's unsure if Google still tests the new changes with a specific growing group of users, or is actually actively rolling them out to the entire userbase yet.

These changes however also affect how well the extension works, due to changing how certain elements and menus are displayed. This means while the extension currently works without any issues on the version of Stadia most people still use, some features will break if you get the new update. These features include:

• Game filtering
• Game shortcut creation (existing shortcuts will still work)
• Homescreen grid sizing
• Streaming monitor access button

I will make sure that everything is getting fixed as soon as possible, but currently the issue is out of my hands, due to not being able to publish a fix until the majority of the userbase (including myself) actually gets the new design changes. A hotfix correcting any issues will be released immediately when possible.

If you are currently on the new design and run into issues due to previously set extension settings, you can manually correct/change all settings at any point by simply following these steps:

1. Disable the extension (chrome://extensions)
2. Open Stadia
3. Hit Ctrl+Shift+I to bring up the developer tools
4. Click "Application" at the top
5. Select "Local Storage" > "stadia.google.com" on the left

All settings set via Stadia Enhanced are located there and can be manually changed. If you want to reset a given option, simply delete the related key (i.e. resetting the game filter would mean to delete the "enhanced_gameFilter" entry). If you want to reset all Stadia related settings, simply rightclick the "stadia.google.com" entry on the left and hit "clear".
