Configuration: Both Blender 2.71 & 2.72, with both factory key-mappings and my usual set of Magic Mouse Tweaks.

Symptom 1: Cannot change the number of segments in a strip as Magic Mouse has no wheel and the 'Mouse/TrackPad Pan' doesn't seem to emulate it. Keypad +/- with or without modifiers don't work either, or page up/page-down.

Symptom 2: Magic Mouse "Mouse/Trackpad Pan" messages appear to be swallowed. I usually have a custom mapping ( Alt+Pan ) to map it to the 3D Viewport Zoom as I like it better, but in the Polystrips modal it no longer functions.

Remark. Several built-in modifiers also don't work with the Magic Mouse, e.g. Loop Cut, but they usually respond to page-up/page-down.

Hey @AndyJBuchanan, just to confirm, CTRL/CMD + -+ does not work to adjust segments on the selected strip?

Ooops, actually I think there's a little bit of user error here after all. It DOES work, Ctrl=numpad +/- .
Earlier I think I did not have the strip selected properly, I just had one of the ends selected.

Does the segment change not work with and endpoint because an endpoint can belong to more than one strip?

The Trackpad is still being locked out in contours though, so Symptom 2 still holds.

That's correct, segments should only adjust if the whole strip is selected. This is by design, but perhaps a bit limiting. It's certainly worth considering to allow segments to be adjusted with only endpoints selected.

As for the trackpad events, we'll have to look into this further. I need to dig out my old magic mouse for testing. Thanks for the heads up!

@vxlcoder when you've got a moment could you check for the track pad events?
