bl 4.1.1
BAU = 1.1.0
I noticed with an addon when manually updating to an release, after Blender restart and immediately doing another update check, results in newer releases not being seen.

01 Open preferences panel and go to update section
02 Click "Check for updates"
03 Select a lower release from the "latest main" dropdown list and update
04 restart blender & run "check for updates" again
05 Go to "latest main" dropdown.
06 notice that the list now doesnt contain the newer version

Even after couple days, the list still wont show the new versions

See attched screen grabs

List before manually updating, not to latest release
list of updates is bigger before updating to lower version

After updating to lower release than the latest, but higher than version before
after updating to lower version- checker doesnt see all updates

Thanks for posting the result. Is this due to auto check not being enabled per the screenshot? It will only check for updated versions on its own if that is enabled. But let me know if I misunderstand. There's a fair argument that it could perhaps warn that latest release data might be out of date in the UI itself, but that would require more of a workflow change.

Correct that is off. But my issue is when after installing a lower version than the newest and doing a manual check, refresh icon, nothing happens. The prior higher version won't show anymore, like they did in the first screen shot
