Interesting. This seems to be an existing problem in BirdBlox. I have just seen it in the version that is currently in the App Store. I pressed the stop button and then immediately tried to light a tri-LED (on a Bit). The LED came on, but turned back off after a short time (less than a second). I will investigate.

When the iOS backend receives a stop command, it sends the command to the robot, waits 1 second, and then sends it again. This seems to be to catch any pending commands and make sure everything stops. I'm sure there is a better way to do this, but for now, I am going to just change the wait time to half a second. If the problem stays noticeable, we can try something more complicated.
