Importing file with same name results in original file being opened

If I create a file called "test", close the app, and try to import a different file called "test", the app successfully imports the new test as "test(2)", but opens "test" instead of it.

If the app is open during the import process, then everything works as expected; the app imports the file as "test(2)" and opens "test(2)".
