Wrapper fails to create excel files

When running wrapper, it fails to create excel files:

Error exporting logs to file: Value must be a list, tuple, range or generator, or a dict. Supplied value is <class 'str'>

This might be because the _metadata_report.jsons are not properly formatted, having an extra line at the end:

This might be also causing that, when invalid_samples folder is created in SFTP, the template excel file with the metadata for those samples should be kept in that filder for re-submission
