Details

Tag Replacer doesn't remove-then-add the same tag, which is normally a good thing, as that would be a waste of time and API requests. This, however, includes tags of different cases, which means that one cannot use it to change a tag from uppercase to lowercase, for example.

Implementing this as a feature would not be entirely trivial (must remove-then-add, which I prefer not to do unless addressing #935), and I have never heard a user request for this, so I'm tempted to call it a wontfix for now.
