  • Please share a debug file the next time this happens so that we can assess this issue better. You can find a guide on How to generate and share a debug file on our blog(https://apphousekitchen.com/how-to-generate-and-share-a-debug-file/).
  • External Monitor connected?
  • MacBook used in Clamshell Mode (with the lid closed)? No

Describe the bug
While charging, the shown Battery Temperature in AlDente rises to up to 50C, in iStat it stays at 31C. That's why the Thermal protection kicks in and the Battery does not charge anymore, after the five Minutes the Cycle repeats.
Battery does not seem to get really that hot.

Hi @faheus,

Unfortunately, we are not able to reproduce this issue on our MacBookPro16,4.

If possible, please share a debug file the next time this happens so that we can assess this issue better. You can find a guide on How to generate and share a debug file on our blog.

Best,
Matthias
