In my document, I have several tables which have similar or even same title, the difference being contextual - the section they are present in. Think a manual for a device that has different modes of operation, and each mode needs a table describing how a given API behaves in said mode. As is, I have to manually prefix the section title to the captions so that they actually are differentiated in the list, but this creates two issues:
it's manual
those captions look redundant in their context
As such, it would be great if the plugin could automatically add the section title to the list.
I can see two ways to do this:
prefix section title to table caption
make the list a description list, with tables nested inside their sections
Title for first section::
* Table 1. Widgets
* Table 2. Ways to foo the widget
Second section title::
* Table 3. Bars
* Table 4. Bazs
