Hi! Thanks for this amazing project, it's great to see how everything pylablib is coming along!

I was wondering if it is possible to use pylablib-cam-control with the PhotonFocus cameras that have a 10GigE interface and rely on the PFSDK rather than on PFRemote?

Is this already possible, or would something new need to be implemented? And if so, how?

Thanks again!

Hi!

No, there are currently no plans to add it.

As far as I know, at least some PhotonFocus GigE cameras (e.g., HD1-D1312-80-G2-12) are supported through NI IMAQdx (not to be confused with NI IMAQ!). There's some basic support for such cameras in cam-control, so it might work. Unfortunately, IMAQdx is not free (though it might be included in some LabView distributions, or be available throuhg your institution/employer).

Alexey.

Hi Alex!

Thank you very much for your response. If I were to try and use the Photonfocus example scripts to try and implement support for these cameras, would you have any pointers or tips on how to go about this in the most efficient way? As a newcomer to your project, I find it a bit hard to orient myself in the structure. Any tips you might have would be highly appreciated, but I understand if this is not something you have time for.

Thanks again for the project! I appreciate your work.
