Given that CGSpace submitters are sometimes inconsistent in using the cg.isijournal metadata tag, would it be possible to add it as a mandatory field in CGSpace - at least for journal articles?
This will help the Quality Assurance process since when cg.isijournal is not in the metadata, PRMS will show an empty field and the Assessor has to manually check it and ask the submitter to add this information in CGSpace.
Thank you.

Hi @valentina-dc. Our submission form doesn't have a way to make this mandatory only for journal articles—this is why we limit mandatory fields like title, author, issue date, and license to all item types. We rely on our submitters to enter ISI status correctly.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only way for a submitter to know whether a journal is ISI is to search for the journal's ISSN on the Clarivate Web of Science Master Journal List. I could possibly add a note in the submission form. I wish there was a way to do this programmatically via an API, similar to how we do other metadata enrichment via Crossref's API. For that we need a Clarivate API key I guess...
Dear @alanorth and @ayabowork
We have a similar case as #44
