I can't say if any of those will work with Tahoma but I would be surprised if they didn't. You will have to confirm that with the dealer. |

Thank you very much. Greatly appreciated.
I am about 100% sure the motors can be connected to Tahoma, as the dealer
say they had another customer that wanted to connect to smarthome (probably
not Homey though), which managed to do it via Tahoma, or perhaps just
directly through Tahoma. Of course I have to take his word for it, but my
concern was more if that motor were supported by this app :-)
Is it a Somfy switch;HUB, Connexoon or other stuff I would need?
Thanks again

If they can be added to Tahoma then I'm 99% sure they will work with my
app, even if I have to add support.
I have one Tahoma hub that sits next to my main router on the ground floor
in one corner of the house and that has no problem talking to any of my IO
devices, including a smoke alarm in the loft.
All my blinds and curtains are RTS and they also work fine.
There are users that have IO gate controllers so I guess they are a fair
distance. However, the only way to know for sure is to try it.

Either the Tahoma, Switch or Connexoon will work with my app. I have a feeling the Connexoon comes as either an IO or RTS version but not both, but if you only have IO then that's not a problem. Edit: Or the connectivity kit for IO |

We are close to finished with our new house and we want to make sure that the exterior Renson roller sunscreens we are about to get installed will work with Homey with the IO motor the dealer is saying their motor uses.
As I have previously heard a lot of problems getting things connected to the "locked" IO protocol, I have my concerns. But just saw this homey app, and I am wondering if this supports Renson's IO motors through a Tahoma Somfy switch? And if so, will it work with one bridge in a big house or work with more Than on somfy bridge?
I have no knowledge of Tahoma, so any considerations on what I need to buy for homey to be able to use this app/other for these Renson io motors?
We will also have 3 Velux roof windows that is also using some kind of IO I think.
The dealer says that because we need to use the minimal profile for renson, then it can only be IO (we previously thought we could choose their RTS motor).
The windows will all be around 20meters from homey in multiple directions
Thanks a lot up front for any info you might be able to give.
